How to help David
"I'm all about clean water," he writes via email. "With your help, we will sponsor a new well in Tanzania which will bring safe, clean water to hundreds of people. ... Clean water improves health, increases school attendance and strengthens local economies. WorldServe builds solar-powered wells equipped with easy-to-maintain and standardized components. They are designed to last for decades."
David's goal was $2,600, but donations are already pushing him toward $5,000. Journey of Awesomeness has surpassed $72,000 in giving as of Tuesday morning.
"I feel strongly enough about this to have signed up to help, uncomfortably ask you to help, and will match the first $1,000 that my donors generously give," he adds.
