22 For '22! Greensboro Running Club
Membership in the Greensboro Running Club comes with many benefits.
Topping the list, of course, would be friendships established and built during runs and social events.
And GRC offers plenty of those.
The club, a non-profit established in 1976, will again sponsor its 10-week Women's Running School, a training program on Thursday evenings that is a prelude to Cone Health's Women's Only 5K Walk & Run on Oct. 1. Look for the school to begin in late July.
Another program beginning in late winter, for men and women, will train runners for Junction 311 Endurance Sports' May the Course Be With You 5K, scheduled for May 7. A portion of the program's cost will be donated to Restoration Place Counseling.

In 2021, GRC continued its series of Tuesday night themed runs, such as its Margarita Series, Around the World, Greensboro Greats and Dessert Runs.
And besides participating in Triad races, such as Saturday's Jingle Jog 5K in Winston-Salem or the upcoming St. Valentine's Day Massacre Marathon Relay in Greensboro, GRC members also travel for races in other locales, such as Hilton Head Island, Key West and New Orleans.
Membership also includes volunteer opportunities, discounts for Junction 311 and Trivium Racing events and a discount at Omega Sports.
