Junction 311 Endurance Sports, owned by Elaine and Mike Clark, expects to kick off its Omega Sports Race Series for 2022 with the Waggin’ Wild 5K on March 5 in Greensboro.

Junction 311 plans to release its full schedule Jan. 12.

To go with a lineup of 5Ks and 10K, the Race Series that stages events in High Point, Winston-Salem and Greensboro is expected to include three half marathons and the long-running Cannonball Marathon in Greensboro.

About 12 to 15 race dates are expected to make up the schedule.

Junction 311 conducts races outside of the series and in other states, too. Their year will begin will a race weekend in Gulf Shores, Ala., featuring the Big Beach Marathon and Half Marathon, the latter of which Pro Football Hall of Fame member Brett Favre ran in 2017, plus a 7K. Junction 311 also owns races in Charlotte; Roswell, Ga.; and Burlington.

And you're also going to find Mike, Elaine and the Junction 311 team involved in run groups, such as the Fiddlin' Fish Run Club that gathers on Monday nights in Winston-Salem.
